Day 1 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari: Arrival in Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be met by our company representative/ driver who will drive you to your booked hotel in Kampala. Dinner and overnight stay in Fairway Hotel/Serena Kampala Hotel/Forest Cottages
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
After breakfast, you will be welcomed by your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari guide who will then transfer to Bwindi national park. It’s an 8-9 hours’ drive with en-route lunch and stop at the Uganda Equator. Proceed to Bwindi forest at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge/Buhoma Community Rest Camp/Mahogany Springs Hotel
Day 3 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari: Gorilla Trekking experience.
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at a very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Day 4 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive
On Day 4 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari, After having breakfast early morning, connect and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-a home to the tree-climbing lions. This is a 4 to 5 hours journey with a stopover lunch via the Ishasha sector. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and have lunch in Ishasha where you will also enjoy a game drive in the area finding the tree-climbing lions and other available animals. Day 5 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari: Game Drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel
On Day 5 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari, Go for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, lions, buffalos, antelopes, impala, among others, and a lot of birds, and a good day leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch.
Connect for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos, and crocodiles. The Kazinga channel is known to have the highest concentration of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the evening and check-in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay as a lodge as above
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale national park – Bigodi swamp walk and Cater lakes tour
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast, meet your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari guide and transfer to fort portal town. It’s a 3-4 hours’ drive a lunch break in Fort portal town. Visit the Amabere caves and waterfalls then connect to Bigodi swamp for a nature walk experience. This is one of the best places to see the different primates species that cannot be seen when trekking chimpanzees in Kibale forest. It takes about 2-3 hours depending on what is available to see. This is also a place for birds where bird lovers must visit. Thereafter, proceed to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay Chimpanzee guesthouse mid-range/Kyaninga Lodge/Isunga Lodge
Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and drive to Entebbe
After breakfast at the lodge, meet your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari driver to drive to Kibale national park. Have early lunch then connect to the park headquarters for your afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience; you will be briefed by the park officials thereafter enter the forest for your chimpanzee trekking. The search takes about 2-5 hours depending on the location of the chimps. On seeing the chimpanzees, you will be granted 1 hour in their presence. Drive out of the park and connect to back to Kampala. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive via Mityana road. You will connect to your hotel close to Entebbe airport. Day 8: Fly to and transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Depending on your flight time, you will have breakfast and be dropped at Entebbe airport for your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari flight to Masai Mara, departing from 12:15 pm to 13:15 pm. You will be met by your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari Kenyan guide and transfer to Lake Nakuru national park. You will have en-route late lunch then proceed to a 3-4 hours’ drive to the park. Day 9: Full day Nakuru national park
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. During the game drive, spot animals like lions, leopards, hyenas, and different antelope species. Later afternoon drive to Lake Nakuru and enjoy the views of huge numbers of flamingo birds on the lake shores and other bird species. In addition to the birdlife of the park, explore the park’s wildlife spotting animals like the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and zebras. Before nightfall return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge
Day 10: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve via Crescent Island tour in Lake Naivasha
After very early, have breakfast and transfer by your 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari to Masai Mara national reserve en-route for about 2-3 hours’ at the crescent island in Lake Naivasha to find some of the interesting animals. After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara national reserve which is along the floor of the magnificent rift valley for unlimited game drive and land of the Masai people. Proceed to your lodge for check-in. Day 11: Full day Masai Mara
On Day 11 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari, After breakfast, full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal, and bat-eared foxes. The black rhino is a little shy and hard to spot but is often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Day 12: Another day in Masai Mara national reserve
On Day 12 of 15 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari, After breakfast, enjoy another day in Masai Mara search of its popular residents. After the full day game drive with packed lunch and with an evening game drive in the plains, return to the lodge in the evening with great memories of the wildlife. Day 13: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
You will be meant by your guide after breakfast, you will set off your journey to Amboseli national park located in the southern part of Kenya. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive from Masai Mara to Amboseli national park with en-route lunch.
Upon arrival, visit the observation hill that gives you an overall view of the whole park especially the swamp and some animals. In the evening, the clouds are usually vividly giving you chances of viewing the snow-capped dome of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in Africa. Day 14: Full Day Amboseli national park
Have breakfast and explore Amboseli national park. This park is a home of the famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to the savannah elephants. Among other wildlife species include; the lions, cheetah, leopards, wildebeests, buffaloes, monkeys families and rare bird species. Spend your morning and afternoon on game drives also visiting the swamp below observation hill that hosts many elephants, hippos and a variety of water fowls like Pelican and Egyptian goose. Day 15: Transfer to Nairobi and departure
After breakfast, drive out of the park to return to Nairobi. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive with lunch break in Nairobi city. Depending on your departure flight back home, you wait for your flight after check-in at the airport for your onward flight back home or be dropped at your desired location in Nairobi.
