Day 2: Rhino tracking, visit the top of the waterfall.
The day is characterized by the main activities; a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where rhinos were bred, a species that became extinct during the turbulent years of Uganda’s political history, and then released into the wilderness in the once-existing Murchison and Kidepo Valley Parks.
Introduced in Kenya and the United States, these rhinos are spread over an area of 70 square kilometers and visitors can get a good overview of the animals. After the activity, have lunch before heading to the national park. Enter through Kichumbanyoba Gate and you will enjoy the view of baboons roaming the track as you drive through Budongo Forest. Many primates can be seen along the way; black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and vervet monkeys.
Visit the top of the falls and see the world’s most powerful waterfall, the Nile water through a 7m wide and 45m deep gorge. About 400 cubic meters of water flow here for 28 kilometers and joins Lake Albert. Drive to the cottage to relax.

Birds such as the African hoopoe, eagle, and white-backed vulture. Fortunately, elusive felines such as lions and leopards can be seen near the delta where the Nile flows into Lake Albert. The climax of the safari is the “Hippo Pond”, where many semi-aquatic hippos rest after a night of grazing. Afternoon cruise on the waters of the Nile visiting the downstream waterfalls.
Various animals like sambar, and elephants can be seen. Nile crocodiles can be seen basking on the banks of the river. There are two options: hike to the top of the falls and see the world’s most powerful waterfall grow from the bottom up, or return to the pier by boat. The top of the waterfall marks the climax of the day’s excursion. At the waterfall, you will experience a 45-meter roaring 400 cubic meter stream flowing at high speed through a 7-meter narrow rock gorge. In the evening, transfer to the desired accommodation.
